Come down to the mews to watch 6 comedians for great night of jokes and laughter on Thursday 6th June 2024 at 8.00pm. Invite a friend, get a drink at the bar and settle down for a night of live entertainment at your favourite community venue. The comedians performing on the night are: Tommy Bayer: Tommy is a comedian based in New York City who has been featured in the New York City Comedy Festival and regularly performs at clubs and random basements all over America. Tommy touches on some of society’s hard hitting and divisive issues such as how “dating is weird”. Originally from the Midwest of America, Tommy has won the Funniest Person in Minnesota competition and has opened for popular acts in the US. This is Tommy’s first visit to the UK. Adam Bownass: There are two groups of people who see the world a little differently from the general population. Neurodivergents and magcians. Luckily, Adam is both! Adam has been performing magic across the country for the best part of a decade. Everywhere from holiday parks to comedy clubs and now he joins us at Catford Mews Comedy Club! Variety D: Variety is a comedian, actress and disability activist. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Comedy Store L.A and Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, California, also she is now officially known as the first black British disabled comedian (14 years and counting). She has recently performed her debut hour show in Peckham. Kim Hope: Winner of G&B Comedy Girl Power 2023 and G&B Comedy All Stars 2024 competitions, Kim has performed stand up and solo shows across her native Australia and internationally, as well as appearing on Australian television panel shows Good News Week, Good News Weekend/Night Lite and All Star Squares. “Hope’s delivery is never less than sharp, incisive and hilarious...this laudable comedian keeps the laughs coming with her intelligent and audacious comedy” -The Pun, Melbourne. Rebekka Turner: Bex is a high energy, eccentric, surreal, stand up/character comic. Her likeability combined with her comedic sense of adventure makes audiences love her. She was a Quarter Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Competition in 2018.
